Renewable energy

1. "Utilization of Bio-Gas for Heat and Power Generation at Pig Farms of Chervona Zirka Farming Economy, Agrofirma Shakhtar Subsidiary, Lease Enterprise Mine named after A.F.Zasyadko", Ukraine.

The purpose of the project is prevention of the methane air emissions, formed in the course of anaerobic disintegration of organic substances contained in animal manures. The project provides for construction and operation of a biogas plant at farms of «Chervona Zirka Farming Economy, Agrofirma Shakhtar Subsidiary, Lease Enterprise Mine named after A.F.Zasyadko».

2. “Construction of bioethanol production plant in the city of Zolotonosha”, Ukraine.

The objective of the project is to prevent leakage of greenhouse gases that were formed in the process of combustion of fossil fuel by internal combustion engines (highway transport) into the atmosphere. Bioethanol as a fuel is neutral as a source of greenhouse gases. It has a zero balance of carbon dioxide because the quantity of CO2 that releases during its production by fermentation and subsequent combustion is equal to the quantity of CO2 that was devoured from the atmosphere by plants for its production. In the result of project implementation emissions caused by fossil fuel combustion by highway transport and emissions caused by petroleum production will be reduced.
