1. “Reduction of Greenhouse Gases Emissions by Gasification of Odesa Region”, Ukraine.

The main goal of the project is reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by changing the structure of fuel consumption in industrial, municipal, administrative and private sectors of Odesa region by replacing solid and liquid fuels with natural gas. The project envisages construction and expansion of gas distribution systems (GDS) of Odesa region, which will also improve the energy efficiency of thermal power generation due to the transition of existing thermal power plants to natural gas, and installation of individual heating and hot water supply systems characterized by better efficiency compared to centralized systems.

2. “Reduction of greenhouse gases emissions by gasification of Mariupol city”, Ukraine.

The main purpose of the project is reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by changing the structure of fuel consumption in industrial, utility, administrative and private sectors of Mariupol city by replacing solid and liquid fuels with natural gas. The project provides for the construction and expansion of gas distribution systems (GDS) of Mariupol city, which will also improve the energy efficiency of thermal power generation due to the transition of existing heating systems to natural gas. The project that is initiated by PJSC “Mariupolgaz” will result in the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere and improve the environmental situation in the region.

3. “Reduction of greenhouse gases emissions by gasification of Kyiv”, Ukraine.

The purpose of the project is switching to more environmentally friendly fuel by energy supply system modernization in Kyiv. As a result of the project implementation there will be increase in the efficiency of fuel consumption and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions compared to current practice.
The project is initiated by PJSC "Kyivgas" to improve the environmental situation in the region.
