Projects developed and implemented:

1. "Rehabilitation of the District Heating System in Donetsk City", Ukraine.

The main goal of the project is reducing fuel consumption in district heating system, in particular natural gas (which is imported to Ukraine), and electricity consumption by means of centralized heat supply system rehabilitation in Donetsk city, which includes replacement and rehabilitation of boilers and heat distribution network equipment, as well as installation of heat recovery units and frequency controllers.

2. "Implementation of Energy Saving Measures at PJSC "Lysychanskiy Glass Factory "Proletary", Ukraine.

The project's purpose is to reduce anthropogenic emissions by using alternative energy resources in the course of company's production activity and its modernization using up-to-date technologies. Alternative energy resources include effluent furnace gases of glass-melting furnaces are used for additional heat generation, which would be generated by old boilers in steam boiler-houses in case of project's absence. In addition, the project's purpose is to reduce emissions of anthropogenic emissions by company modernization, which provides introducing of new technologies in the production of float glass, and results in reduction in energy use by reducing specific fuel and electricity consumption for production of a unit of output.

3. "Implementation of energy efficiency measures at SE "Donetska zaliznytsya", Ukraine.

The main purpose of the project is decrease in consumption of energy resources in the course of rendering services on cargo and passengers rail transportation. This can be achieved due to complex modernization of economy of SE «Donetska zaliznytsya».

4. "Implementation of energy efficiency measures at SE "Prydniprovska zaliznytsya", Ukraine.

The main purpose of the project is decrease in consumption of energy resources in the course of rendering services on cargo and passengers rail transportation. This can be achieved due to complex modernization of economy of SE «Prydniprovska zaliznytsya».

5. "Technical revamping and modernization aimed at increase in energy efficiency of PJSC "Rubezhnoye cardboard and package mill"

The main purpose of the project is:
1) Greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions due to energy efficiency activities:
  • modernization (replacement) of obsolete and worn-out pumping, ventilation equipment, general-purpose engines to high-efficiency, energy-saving analogues (foreign and domestic ones), to ensure lower electricity consumption in the course of further operations:
  • modernization of motor drives of cardboard and paper machines
  • installation of frequency regulators
  • modernization of TPP.
2) GHG emission reductions through installation of a cogeneration plant.
The project implementation will lead to better efficiency in electricity and fossil fuel consumption, which will cause a reduction of GHG emissions against the current practice.

6. State Enterprise «Malyshev Plant» (Kharkiv)

"Implementation of the energy efficiency measures at SE "Malyshev Plant", Ukraine.
The purpose of the project is implementation and use of more efficient production technologies and equipment at SE "Malyshev Plant". As a result, the project will increase the efficiency of energy consumption and energy use that will lead to lower greenhouse gas (GHG) emission against the current practice.

CJSC "Nizhnevartovskaya GRES" (Nizhnevartovsk)

"Implementation of 800 MW power generating unit No.2 at Nizhnevartovskaya GRES", Russia.

The project aims to improve the reliability and quality of electrical and thermal energy supply to the different groups of consumers of the Ural Federal District by the use of modern technologies that reduce pollution, including greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions.

RUC "Mykolaivoblteploenerho" (Mykolaiv)

"Modernization of the heat supply system in Mykolaiv region", Ukraine.

The project provides for the complex modernization of the heat supply system in Mykolaiv city and Mykolaiv region in order to increase fuel consumption efficiency by using equipment and manufacturing technologies with higher energy efficiency. As a result, the project will reduce greenhouse gas emissions compared with the current practice.
